Which is the best  for you?

There are various approaches to answering this question. We cant say “any of them,”  for a place to start. As the needs of each user tend to be unique there never can be one best Linux distribution for everyone. For example we cant suggest Gentoo for someone who’s looking for a good introductory distribution,  Gentoo is decidedly not a beginner’s distro.
Here is the list of  best Linux distributions for the various types of Linux users to try.
1) Best Desktop Distribution:Ubuntu.
2) Best Laptop Distribution: openSUSE.
3) Best Enterprise Desktop: SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED).
4) Best Enterprise Server: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
5) Best LiveCD: KNOPPIX.
6) Best Security-Enhanced Distribution: SELinux.
7) Best Multimedia Distribution: Ubuntu Studio.
